2011-13 Mazda 3 Recall
49,000 Mazda 6 sedans are under a recall due to potential rust issues. The recall begins June 24 but only covers 2011-13 Mazda 3 vehicles sold in these states: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia & Wisconsin.
Mazda says that road salt can corrode & damage the right front control arm. When the control arm is weak it can affect the car's alignment and increase the possibility of an accident.
